The Cargomatic Driver app enables carriers to efficiently manage freight operations directly from their mobile devices. The key features of the app include:

• Viewing real-time available shipment offers
• Accepting shipment offers
• Accessing lists and details of accepted jobs
• Receiving driving directions
• Taking pictures of the bill of lading and entering representative names
• Taking pictures of the POD and entering representative names

Cargomatic provides trucking companies with the opportunity to optimize their excess capacity by accepting additional shipments that align with their delivery routes.

Available shipping solutions offered by Cargomatic include LTL, FTL, and drayage services. The carrier network encompasses various vehicle types such as bobtails, tractor trailers, and cargo vans.

How Cargomatic Works

Shippers access the Cargomatic Shipper App at http://app.cargomatic.com to input their shipment details (origin, destination, size, weight, etc.). Once the shipment information is entered, it is displayed on the Driver App for nearby carriers to accept using their smartphones before the scheduled pickup time.

Real-time tendering of shipments ensures that carriers only see job offers that match or are close to their existing routes, allowing them to maximize truck space utilization and reduce the number of vehicles required by shippers during peak operational periods.

On a daily basis, tens of thousands of trucks with available capacity pass by manufacturers and logistics providers with freight in need of transportation in the same direction. By virtually connecting these parties through technology, we contribute to reducing truck emissions by enhancing the efficiency of freight movement per vehicle-mile traveled.
